Our international students and Japanese students went on a field trip to the Takarazuka Grand Theater to see the revues "Samurai The Final" and "Romance." Everyone enjoyed the spectacular shows with a mixture of traditional and modern dance and singing. This was despite the students’ challenges in following the old story. The all-female Takarazuka Revue was founded by Ichizo Kobayashi in Takarazuka on April 1, 1914. Even today, the revue is popular for its beautiful and gorgeous stage performances. We hope that we were able to encourage our students to have interests in Japanese culture and the traditional performance arts.
